CHRISTOPHER SAMS plays BILL SLANK, the nasty, cruel captain of the Neverland with an insatiable greed for the secret treasure, as well as HAWKING CLAM, the island prince of the hysterical MOLLUSK tribe.
Chris is a Birmingham native and graduate of the University of Montevallo who comes full circle with this show, having previously played Peter in Peter Pan. Chris’ many other credits include Leo Frank in Parade, the Emcee in Cabaret, Judas in Godspell, The Full Monty, Footloose, The Boys in the Band, Poison Apple, Rent, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
City Equity Theatre’s production of Peter and the Starcatcher is the first Alabama production of the 5-time Tony Winner and opens CET’s tenth anniversary year on July 23, with 19 performances through August 16, (performed at Birmingham Festival Theatre). For tickets and info, call 205/500-2701.
