Thank you!

Thanks to all who came out to Slice Birmingham last night for our Dough-Raiser–we had a great time and enjoyed some fine food and stellar company! Thanks again to Slice for hosting, and to KC Projects for facilitating such a great program.

Tonight it’s back to work as we move into Birmingham Festival Theatre and resume rehearsals for Conor McPherson’s The Seafarer—opening night is just two weeks from tomorrow! Be sure to make plans to join us for this spirited Christmas show.

Dough-Raising at Slice Pizzeria, 11/19

Special thanks to KC Prōjects, LLC and Slice Birmingham for their help in setting up our Dough-Raising event on Tuesday, 11/19! We’ll have City Equity Folks on site, Slice will be dishing out their fabulous pies, and CET will receive 10% of your food purchase. Print out the attached flier (or look for the CET display at Slice–we’ll have more on hand) and come on down for lunch or dinner and show your support for local businesses, farmers and theatre while enjoying a great meal: it’s a win-win-win!

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the pizzeria and at the theatre!

We’re dark, but this weekend features fabulous local talent in Red Mountain Theatre‘s production of  42nd Street  and Greater Tuna  at Terrific New Theatre—go, see, and enjoy local theatre!

CET will be on hand at Birmingham Festival Theatre‘s combined season auditions on August 3-4 for first-pass non-Equity auditions for our upcoming productions. We’re itching to tell you all about our ’13-’14 season just as soon as the last bits of business are taken care of, so keep an eye out for those announcements!

Finally: we’re well out from the date, but plan on joining us at Slice Birmingham for a Dough Raiser fundraising event on Tuesday, November 19, when we’ll be collecting 10% of qualified food purchases throughout the day. Thanks to Slice and KC Prōjects, LLC for maintaining such a great program that benefits local artists and entrepreneurs alike. We’ll see you there!
