Meet the Cast of Bill W. and Dr. Bob: Don Sandley (Clerk, Billy, Dr. Silkworth, Norm Shepherd)
Dr. Don Sandley is the Chair of Theatre and Dance at Samford University as well as a professional director, actor, author and playwright. Don’s recent Birmingham acting work includes White Christmas for Samford University and the film October Baby. Don’s recent directing projects include The Trip to Bountiful by Horton Foote for Samford University and The Last Flapper for the Birmingham Festival Theatre. He will direct The Light in the Piazza for Samford in February and Gidion’s Knot for Birmingham Festival Theatre in August. Over the course of his thirty-year career Don has worked on over two hundred separate projects for stage and camera.
